NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette Review

Hey guys!!!!
Sorry for the delay in posting. Life has been a little hectic. Sick kid, work and home but I am still praising God. Anyway I have alot to share! I have done alot of shopping lol.

So while I have not been posting I have been shopping! I will be sharing these newbies over the next few weeks! Also, I will be restarting my YouTube channel in October!!! I need to know what you guys want to see.

Back to business. I found this baby on Ulta's website. I have been searching a new bronzer and highlight and I found this one.

I was super excited to finally get this. The colors are rich and smooth and each pan pops out so you can arrange them in any way you choose! This palette can be used by all skintones. It has light to dark bronzers and highlights that will work on most skintones.  The shades are very blendable.

The shades in the is palette are (From left to right):

Ice Queen- Pearly Pale White
Soft Light- Nude Matte
Cream- Soft Matte Yellow
Nectar- Pearly Soft Peach
Tan- Matte soft brown with slight red undertones
Toffee- Matte neutral brown
Sculpt- Matte taupe
Hollow- Matte deep brown

NYX also offers 4 other colors that can be added to this palette.. What makes this hard is that NYX does not sell empty palettes to put these in. The other colors are Bone, Soft Peach, Sienna, & Saddle.

I personally really enjoy Cream as a undereye setter and I like Nectar as a highlight and I contour with Tan and Toffee!

 And now for the SWATCHES!!!!

As far as pricing goes, this palette is a steal for $25 and the additional pans are $5. You can either buy the additional shades and swap them for ones you'd use more or you can use the $5 pans in order to replace shades that you hit pan on. Right now, ABH contour palette is running for about $40 and Kat Von D Shade + Light is $46.  Not speaking anything ill of those 2 but if you want a similar look for less money this is the way to go!!

So guys! What is your fave contour/highlight product? What ones do you wanna try or see here?
Please comment below and don't forget to hit the follow button!!!!!
Thanks for stopping in!

Maybelline Color Tattoo Pigments Review

Hey there!

So I have used the Color Tattoo cream shadows but I have never used these babies before, and you guys will NEVER believe where I found them!!! Wait for it....... THE DOLLAR TREE!!!!
I know right.. Crazy. Any way on to my swatches and opinion on these.

So I picked up every color they had available but I will be going back to see if they get any more :)

The colors I got were Breaking Bronze, Buff & Tuff, Pink Rebel, Downtown Brown and Never Fade Jade.

I bought Breaking Bronze a week ago and I have used it a lot since, it's super smooth and easy to apply with little to no fall out. I have not used the other yet. I plan on mapping out looks with the them this week!

I like the fact that the are shimmery but now glittery. They are buttery too.  Buff & Tuff is pretty but I don't know how I feel about it yet it has a lot of glitter but it may look good. I will report back to you guys on that. Below are swatches but you really can't see the glitter in it.

I think Downtown Brown will make a cute smokey brown look alongside of my Milani Shadow Eyez pencil!!! I will be posting pics of that soon!!!

All in all these are great and for $1 you can't beat it!!! Tell me what you guys think and show off your thrifty Dollar Tree finds! Don't forget #tatswingsandnerdythings

Milani Rose Collection Blushes!!!

Hey there guys and dolls!! Sorry for the delay in posting it been one CRAZY week! Started a new schedule at work and I am pleasantly adjusting. Its been nice being home early enough to see life and my kids. God has once again blessed me. I have been super excited to share this new buy with you!!! I also have several others that I will be sharing throughout this month :)

Let's get started, shall we?

So I heard so many great things about these blushes so I decided to try them. Milani has great products and I have been using them for some time now. Their baked blush in Luminoso BE BANGIN! lol It was my holy grail for a long time and is also a dupe for NARS Orgasm.

I was in the market for a new blush, especially because my MAC PeachTwist was dropped and shattered. I also wanted to try matte blushes this season. I went out and bought 2 of the Milani blushes from their Rose Collection. I was immediately drawn in by the colors, Romantic Rose and Coral Cove.

PHOTO TIME!!

I must say I was super excited about this buy. So I tried Romantic Rose on the next day and wore it with a muted pink and taupe look eye. The blush blended super smooth and was just pigmented enough. (see pic below)

Here are 2 swatches that I did with my finger just to show you how pigmented they were and W00t! It was a win. I got TONS of compliments on this color when I wore it. I have not worn Coral Cove yet but I will update later.

You like that tat right... *Singy voice* Oh yea you like it!! Showing off some wrist LOL!

What made this buy twice as awesome..... These 2 beauties were priced @ $8.99 at my local Walgreens. I get to the register ready to pay $18 for them. I plugged my Balance Rewards number in there and BOOM! What did I see????? These babies are on sale this week for........$5.99!!!! So make sure you head down to your local Walgreens and get this baby for a steal!

JCat Beauty's Liptitude Review

Sooo a friend of mine got one of these babies from ipsy and LOVED it! She ordered a few more and they did not suit her so she gave them to me to try and I really like them. I am typically not a huge fan of shiny glosses.. I am a lipstick girl myself.

Lets start with the exciting details, shall we?

You can get these beauties here at JCat Beauty's website. They are $5.99 each which is a good price for lip stain. They come in 14 different shades. I plan on buying Fantasy Dreamer before fall!!

The colors I got were  Lipbanging (on left LLS111) and  Scandalous (on right LLS106). I really like the way this lasts. It has a minty tingling thing going on as well. It has great holding power but I would definitely recommend a nude lip liner to keep it from bleeding.

SWATCHES:

Lipbanging is my favorite of the 2! It is very good with my ton and I have worn it with a bronze glow look before. Scandalous is a little bright for my liking . The one good thing about these, is the color payoff. The swatches are one swipe of the product!

In my opinion, these are definitely worth the try and for $5.99 they are easy on your pocket as well!! Shout out to Jcat!!

Gwynnie Bee!!!!

So I recently signed back up for thing called Gwynnie Bee!

Basically what it is, its Netflix for clothes!

I know the first thing that comes to mind is, EW used clothes... But no its actually really nice. Almost like having one of those closets from Clueless but it takes a few days to get the outfit.. But it is nice. Using Gwynnie Bee has helped my confidence some and helped me find a new style for myself.

As most of you know from bearing children I gained some weight over the years and I am working to take it off.. SOME of it. I love my curves and I don't want to lose too much weight really I just want to be healthy. Gwynnie Bee is very much for women with curves! They have like the CUTEST stuff really. A lot of vintage type dresses and skirts which really drew me in and not to mention they give you the first month FREE!!!! You can choose from 1 to 3 items out at a time!!

I have not received my new box yet but when I do I will do another post about the process and what I got :) If you want to try Gwynnie Bee yourself I placed the link below!!

Thanks for reading pretties!!!

Maybelline Blushed Nudes First Thoughts!

Sooo for my first "First Thoughts!

I finally committed to buying Maybelline Blushed Nudes palette. I have been eyeballing it because I really wanted to add some rose colors to my collection. I have not tried the regular nudes palette BTW. I have Urban Decay Naked and its practically a dupe, but I will buy it soon.

So far, I like it but I just bought it yesterday. I did do some swatches (which I will post soon) and I like the pay off of most. Some of the lighter shades don't show up well. ( I am a MAC NC35) It comes with sponge applicators but I don't use them. I do keep them for projects and such.

Today I wore the shade second from the bottom right today on my lid and blended it with Urban Decay Naked and got a lot of compliments at work. I paired it with a nude pencil from the Fergie collection from Wet & Wild and OF COURSE my fave Hard Candy liquid liner. It lasted all day with out creasing.

I look forward to playing with it this week and letting you guys know what I think!!

Have you played with this yet? What was your thoughts?

I would like to hear what combos you did with it!!! Follow me on Instagram @tatswingsandnerdythings and #tatswingsandnerdythings so I can see!!!

Until next time!!
